Text description provided by the architects. We divide the land into three blocks due to the relationship between surrounding roads and local environmental characteristics. The first block included management committee office buildings, city planning exhibition hall and tourism cultural center.
The second block consist of traditional commercial Pedestrian Street and culture club. The third block was designed as central water- feature area that connects three blocks together. Different plots have different functions. The first block responsible for sculpture the city, it emphasizes the landmark volume and express the contemporary Lintong city’s image effectively out.
The second plot was designed as functional pack to the first plot; it creates a pedestrian business environment and recovers an old house in Guanzhon. Being the most wonderful part of pedestrian scale, the third plot encourage other two plots communicate together and the focus is the central landscape part of the third plot. People will feel environmental enrichment and find out the positive significance of city function during they were shopping or working in this environment.
